Personal Guide – A Dedicated Adult for Every Child
Every child at Kalliopuro Residential Home is assigned a personal guide who becomes familiar with their situation and needs. The guide supports the child through everyday challenges, school, hobbies and personal goals — acting as a consistent, trustworthy adult.
The guide also serves as a key connection between the child, staff, guardians and external collaborators. We aim to build a strong, lasting bond so the child feels heard, seen and appreciated — both in everyday life and during life’s changes.
